PUPPIES PLANNED FOR 2010

We are hoping to have two litters of Labradors and a litter of cocker spaniels this year. The Labrador litters will build on our breeding lines as I will mate Tottie (Neptown Tottie of Bedgebrook, a Rouble daughter) to Scally and Hobby (Mansengreen Hobby of Bedgebrook) to Quin. Both litters should have black and yellow puppies and we will keep at least one puppy from each litter to train in 2011.

Tottie works harder than any other dog and finds twice as much game when picking up. She is small, strong, keen, athletic and very able.

Hobby can be a little shy but has blossomed with two seasons picking up where she forgets any slight anxiety in her determination to pick game for me! I had a litter from her by Scally last year and have heard only good reports of the puppies. Mating her to Quin should add more calmness.

Sage (Levenghyll Secret Message of Bedgebrook) is my secret weapon! I love Cocker spaniels for their sheer enthusiasm and Sage lives up to that! She loves working, whether beating on our shoot at home or picking up on a big sold day and is never happier than when she has her nose on the ground!

All our puppies are born in the house where I can spend as much time as possible with them.

Depending on the weather I like to get them out in the garden when they are old enough so they can enjoy some good games on the grass! I take the breeding and rearing of my puppies very seriously, only breeding from my best bitches and planning extremely carefully which stud dog to use.

Nature and nurture are both important.

I am a Kennel Club Accredited Breeder.
